Student Advisory Board (2017-2018)
Christopher is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and went to the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) for his undergrad, where he got a degree in Business Management and a minor in History. After graduating, he discovered his interest in marketing while he was a Marketing Ambassador for Anheuser-Busch InBev. Chris is currently the Director of Finance for the Vanderbilt Marketing Association, and will be the Co-President for the 2018-2019 academic year.
April Hughes is an award-winning marketer and experienced speaker. She has a background in financial services marketing management, independent TED events, and nonprofit integrated marketing strategy. She loves cinematography, hiking, and rock climbing.
Odelia Lao is a Class of 2019 Vanderbilt Owen MBA Candidate with seven years of product management and product launch experience in the baby, kitchen, home, and apparel industries. As someone who loves both the creative and analytic side of marketing, Odelia is excited to be on the board of the Vanderbilt Center for Marketing Insights. To further her commitment to marketing, she will also serve as the VP of Career Development of the Vanderbilt Marketing Association. This summer, Odelia will be combining her passion for food and marketing as a Marketing Summer Associate at Nestlé.
Morgan long scott
Morgan Long Scott is a member of Owen Graduate School of Management Class of 2019, concentrating in Marketing and Strategy with an emphasis on Brand Management. She holds a M.A. in Art Business from Christie’s Education and a B.A. in Art History from New York University. She is currently on the board of the Tech Club as Marketing Director and serves as a Campus Recruiter Host. When she is not on campus she enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling (25 countries and counting), and exploring Nashville.
