Kelly L. Haws


Professor of marketing

A prolific researcher with a focus on consumer behavior, Kelly Haws' work on food decision-making has garnered significant attention from marketers and consumers alike. Professor Haws was named a Young Scholar by the Marketing Science Institute in 2009, and in 2013, she was awarded the Early Career Award by the Association of Consumer Research. She is also a Chancellor’s Faculty Fellow.

Kelly studies consumer behavior, with a particular focus on issues related to consumer welfare and an emphasis on food decision-making and health-related issues and the underlying decision-making processes involved. In addition, she also studies responses to actions taken by firms intended to reward consumers as well as issues related to behavioral pricing.
