Senior Research Associate

Ryan collaborates with the Owen faculty to design, manage, and publish research studies. As the Behavioral Lab Administrator, he coordinates the day-to-day operations of the insights lab (e.g., participant recruitment, lab training, survey building, and budget planning). With expertise in experimental and survey research, Ryan is available to assist faculty and students at all stages of the research process.

Ryan's research focus is in judgment and decision making, specifically decisions involving risk and uncertainty. Some of his research involves examining why advisors may recommend different (risky) options for others than the ones they choose for themselves. Another area of interest involves understanding the role of self-control in predicting risk preferences.
